Every product is created and quality-checked with utmost care to ensure customer satisfaction and product excellence.

By purchasing products through the Platform, You acknowledge and agree that all returns, exchanges, cancellations, refunds, and related requests shall be governed by this Return, Exchange & Refund Policy in addition to the Terms of Use and other applicable policies of the Company.

No Return Policy

Except as expressly provided under this Policy, products purchased through the Platform shall not be eligible for return once delivered to the customer.

Refund Policy

Refunds shall ordinarily not be provided in monetary form and, wherever applicable, may be issued solely in the form of a credit note, store credit, or such other mode as determined by the Company at its sole discretion.

Refunds or credit notes may be considered only under the following circumstances:

• The User receives a product that is materially damaged, defective, or incorrect at the time of delivery and the Company determines that replacement or exchange is not reasonably possible; or
• The ordered product becomes unavailable or cannot be fulfilled by the Company after successful placement of the order.

Any credit note, refund approval, or adjustment shall be processed only after the returned product, wherever applicable, is received at the Company’s warehouse and successfully passes internal quality inspection and verification procedures.

The Company undertakes thorough quality checks and inspection processes prior to dispatch of all orders and may maintain quality control reports, dispatch records, photographs, or packaging videos for verification and dispute resolution purposes. All refund, replacement, or damage-related claims shall remain subject to review, investigation, and approval by the Company.

Product Disclaimer

1. Embroidery, Fabric & Colour Variations

The Company takes commercially reasonable measures to ensure the quality, craftsmanship, finishing, embroidery, and presentation of all products. However, due to the inherent characteristics of fabrics, dyes, handwork, embroidery techniques, textures, artisanal processes, lighting conditions, and garment treatments, minor variations in embroidery, colour tone, texture, or finish may naturally occur and shall not be treated as defects.

The Company does not guarantee complete resistance against colour bleeding, fading, texture variation, or natural wear associated with fabrics and handcrafted garments.

2. Sizing & Fit

Garment fit and appearance may vary depending upon the cut, silhouette, construction, fabric, styling, and intended design aesthetic of each product. Certain garments may be intentionally designed for relaxed, oversized, tailored, slim-fit, or structured appearances.

Users are advised to carefully review the size chart, product measurements, and fit specifications available with each product prior to placing an order. Slight deviations or marginal differences in measurements may occur due to fabric properties, tailoring processes, hand-finishing techniques, or manufacturing tolerances.

3. Colour Display Accuracy

The Company endeavors to display product colours, textures, and appearances on the Platform as accurately as reasonably possible. However, actual product colours may slightly differ from the digital representation displayed on the Platform due to factors including but not limited to:

• Screen resolution;
• Device display settings;
• Brightness and colour calibration;
• Studio lighting;
• Photography techniques; or
• Natural fabric and dye variations.

Such variations shall not be considered product defects or grounds for return or refund.

4. Wash Care Instructions

Users are advised to carefully read and follow all wash care, storage, ironing, and garment handling instructions provided on product tags, labels, packaging, or accompanying material. The Company shall not be responsible for any damage, shrinkage, colour fading, embroidery deterioration, fabric distortion, or garment defects arising from improper washing, handling, storage, or use contrary to the prescribed care instructions.

5. Transactional Disputes

The Company shall not be liable for any loss, damage, failed transaction, declined authorization, delayed processing, banking issue, payment gateway interruption, or financial dispute arising directly or indirectly due to banking limitations, card restrictions, insufficient funds, authorization failures, technical errors, or limitations imposed by financial institutions or payment service providers.

All disputes arising out of transactions conducted through the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts situated in Delhi, India.

International Orders – Return & Exchange Policy

At present, Shaan The Artisans of India does not ordinarily provide returns, exchanges, or refunds for international orders placed outside India unless otherwise expressly approved by the Company at its sole discretion.

Users placing international orders acknowledge and accept that all international purchases shall be considered final sale transactions.

Customs Duties, Taxes & Import Charges

ALL CUSTOMS DUTIES, VAT, IMPORT DUTIES, LOCAL TAXES, CLEARANCE CHARGES, OR OTHER GOVERNMENTAL LEVIES APPLICABLE IN THE DESTINATION COUNTRY SHALL BE BORNE SOLELY AND DIRECTLY BY THE CUSTOMER.

Such charges may vary depending upon the laws and regulations applicable in the destination country and shall not be included in the product pricing displayed on the Platform.

The Company shall not be responsible for refunding any customs duty, import tax, clearance charge, or related governmental levy imposed by any authority outside India.

Made-to-Measure (MTM) Orders

All Made-to-Measure (MTM), customized, altered, personalized, specially commissioned, or size-modified orders, including garments above standard size specifications (including sizes above 46, wherever applicable), shall be processed strictly on a prepaid basis only.

Such orders shall be considered final sale products and shall not be eligible for return, exchange, cancellation, or refund unless expressly approved by the Company in exceptional circumstances.

Modification of Policy

Shaan The Artisans of India reserves the absolute right to amend, revise, modify, suspend, withdraw, or update this Return, Exchange & Refund Policy or any part thereof at any time without prior notice. Any such modifications shall become effective immediately upon publication on the Platform.

Continued use of the Platform and Services after publication of revised terms shall constitute Your acceptance of the updated Policy.
